Slot Machines Handling
Pay close attention to the pay particulars of "7s" machines; they can be tricky. We were in a casino one day and a woman started yelling, "1 got three blue sevens! I got three blue sevens!" We looked over and sure enough, there they were, three blue 7s lined up on the pay line. However, there were no lights flashing, no bells ringing, no credits racking up, no money coming out of the machine. The woman cried, “Where’s my jackpot?" Upon closer inspection, we saw that with less than-max coins played, payoffs were limited to bars and cherries only; to get paid for 7s you had to have three coins in. The woman had played two coins, so when her three blue 7s came up, instead of winning a $1,000 jackpot, she got nothing.

Intresting Blackjack Casino Rules
Decisions
The great appeal of lies in the many decisions available to players at . Each hand presents a wide range of choices. You can hit (take another card to improve your hand) or stand (if you are happy with the total you already have). Other options are doubling down (doubling your original bet and receiving only one more card), splitting (making two separate hands out of a pair by matching the original bet), surrendering (forfeiting one-half of your original bet and throwing in your hand), and insurance (a hedge bet available when the dealer shows an ace as her up card.
Resolving the Hands
After everyone has finished playing their hands, including the dealer, the dealer will go around the table and resolve the outcome for each player. If you win, she pays even money on your bet. If you have a lower total than the dealer or bust out (exceed a point total of 21), you lose and she takes your chips. In the event of a tie, called a push, nobody wins and no money changes hands. The object of the game is to have a higher total than the dealer without busting.
Examples
You are playing at a table with two other gentlemen. You receive a pair of 7s and the dealer flips over an 8 for her up card. After a moment of hesitation, you decide to hit the 14. This is done by scratching the cards on the felt (in a handheld game) or scratching with your finger behind your cards (in a face up shoe game). In this case you and the two other players all draw face cards and bust (exceed 21) and the dealer wins all bets without even having to play her cards. Surprisingly, the main advantage for the in blackjack lies in the simple fact that the dealer always acts last.
Your next hand is a 13
The dealer now shows a 9 as her up card. You choose to stand this time, thus making sure you are still alive at the end. Standing is signaled by waving over the top of your cards (in a face up game) or tucking the cards under your chips (in a handheld game). Unfortunately, the dealer has a king in the hole and her 19 makes you a loser again. Trying to outguess the dealer like this is ultimately a losing proposition. Only by learning correct basic strategy can you have any realistic chance of moving from novice to expert.
Other options like doubling down and splitting involve putting more money into play , so it is critical to learn the correct strategy. On a double down, you match your original bet (that is, you push out another $10 next to the $10 bet already in the box), and receive only one additional card. A good time to double down is when you have totals of 10 or 11 for your starting two cards. This is because nearly a third of the time you will receive a 10 (that includes all face cards) for your double down (giving a strong total of 20 or 21). Pair splits are similar in that you also match your original bet, but here your first two cards are split apart and two separate hands are played out. Each one of these (unless starting with a pair of aces) can be hit more than once (unlike the double down).
