Promotions Come and Go
Caesars Palace used to give away free decks of used cards. It wasn’t advertised anywhere, but if you knew about it, all you had to do was walk up to the cashier and ask for a deck. How did we know about the deal? In this case, we read about it in the Las Vegas Advisor This is the sort of promotion that you find when you keep your eyes and ears wide open. It’s also the kind of promotion that’s here today, gone tomorrow One time you’ll go to Caesars Palace and the cashier will smile and hand you a deck of cards. Then the next time she’ll look at you like you’re out of your mind (and swear that Caesars has never given away free cards). It happens all the time.

Online Casino Money Management
Money Management for the Shoe
All 21 players must change their basic money management techniques against the shoe. It is a much faster game. You must “press" (jump) your bets much quicker and higher against the shoe. The new philosophy will terrify many players, who already shake and tremble when they bet more than $10. But the shoe often runs in winning and losing streaks, so you must press your second bet if you win. That way you'll be in the right position if the shoe takes off on a streak. If you lose, revert to your original bet. If you win the second bet, my money management progression method will take care of you after that, in any country.
Pressing or jumping your bet means that when you win your first you add the amount you originally bet to your second bet. For example: your first bet is $2.00. You win the bet. You now add $2.00 more from your own hand to the $4.00 of the winning bet, and are betting $6.00 on the next deal. Pressing bets applies to all of bettors.
Variation of Money Management With Countries
Money management will vary with the country. I have included a betting guide for each country separately because the foreign currency denominations and limits vary sharply and can have a drastic effect on how you progress your bets. But I've included money management for only certain games, and only for the countries where I think you should play. For some countries, I give no money management system, simply because I would not suggest playing there. For other countries I don't explain how to bet on some games se I don't advise you to play them. If you want to know how to bet, just turn to the pages discussing the country where you're playing and follow the specific betting method there. The $2 player doesn't have to worry much about game limits in foreign , because it would be hard for him to get into trouble. It's the larger bettor who plays $10 or more each hand who must carefully watch the maximum betting limits and the foreign currency.
Casino Money
Many casinos outside Nevada, such as in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, deal in American money. Usually there is a $2 minimum in 21. Even in Nevada, many casino clubs are dealing a $2 minimum on weekends and holidays. Soon the $1 bettor may vanish with the penny slot machines. But even the $2 bettor must have a money progression system for the shoe. It's going to take guts to play, but whether you're a $2 player or a $100 player you must use the following progression method against the shoe.
$2 bettor- First bet $2, then $6 if you win; then $12 and $12 again; if you keep winning, $15 and then $15 again. After the second $15 bet, raise each winning bet $ until you lose. I don't care if you keep adding $5 a hand until you're betting $500 a hand. Still add $5 a winning hand until you lose. Play the hands, not the amount of money bet. If you lose, revert to your original bet of $2. $5 bettor-$5, $15, $30, then $30 again, as you keep winning; then $45, $45 again, then add $10 to each winning bet until you lose $10 bettor-$10, $30, $60, $60 again, $90, $90 again, and then add $50 a hand until you lose. $20 bettor-$20, $60, $120, $120 again, $180, $180again, and then $5O a hand until you lose. $50 bettor- $5O, $15O, S300, S300 again, $400 and $5OO (usually the maximum limit).$100 bettor or higher- $1OO, $300, $5OO. If you are in club with a $1,000 limit, bet $5OO again. If you win, jump to $700. If you win, make your next bet $1,000. High rollers who normally like to bet $5O or more from the start must use the $20 progression method outside Nevada in such countries as Puerto Rico and in the Caribbean where maximum betting limits often are $200 or less. You can't be a high roller with a $200 limit, and you may never get out if you get stuck.
